Directions for Claiming Your Student Account (S#) on a computer: 

1. Click Here and skip to item #5 OR 

2. If starting on the Birmingham City Schools main webpage, navigate to the “Students and Parents” section along the top of the webpage

3. On the Students and Parents Directory find the “Students and Parents Home” link and click on it.

4. Click on either the IDM button in the top center of the page OR the “BCS students. Claim Your Network Identity” link on the right of the page.

5. Click the “CLAIM YOUR ACCOUNT NOW” link. DO NOT CLICK ON “FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD”

6.Scroll down and click on the second “Click Here” in blue

7. Use the pull-down to select “Student” and click the “Next button at the bottom

8. Enter your s# INCLUDING the “s”. 

9. Create your password.  Your password must be at least 8 characters and must contain at least 3 of these categories:

    Uppercase letters......ex. UPPERLowercase letters.....ex. lower numbers.......ex. 1234567890 Symbols......ex.!@#$%^&*()

Click “Next” and you are done!!!
