Ms. Talisa Phillips, fifth grade teacher at J.H. Phillips Academy (no relation), is the latest recipient of a $1,000 One Class At A Time grant from Chick-Fil-A and CBS 42 News!
Ms. Phillips plans to use the funds to establish a mental break station and purchase sanitation supplies and additional curriculum materials for her class.
Representatives from Chick-Fil-A and CBS 42, along with her fifth grade class, surprised Ms. Phillips with the award during a secret presentation on Nov. 4. Ms. Phillips and her class were featured during the 5 p.m. news broadcast tonight.
