Students, parents, and teachers gathered at EPIC Alternative Elementary School to celebrate the school's selection a National Blue Ribbon School, a designation reserved for only the best schools in the nation. State Superintendent of Education Dr. Eric Mackey was among the honored guests and the featured speaker during the event.
