This Thursday, August 22, the Ramsay Rams and Parker Thundering Herd will play in the second annual Stop the Violence Classic at Legion Field.
Players, coaches, and administrators from both schools gathered at the historic stadium's press box yesterday to share their thoughts on the game and the importance of its message to the community with the media.
“Our goal with this is to listen to the voices of students and come up with a solution that’s driven by our students, so they’ll listen to each other,” said Dr. Mark Sullivan, Superintendent of Birmingham City Schools.
Kickoff is set for 7 pm. BCS Under the Lights will broadcast the game live via YouTube, Facebook, and Vimeo with pregame coverage starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available online via GoFan.
