During the weekend of March 2, five students from G.W. Carver High School competed in the Mathworks Mathematical Modeling Challenge with cash prizes and scholarships at stake.
Over the course of 14 hours, the students were challenged to use mathematical modeling to analyze housing supply in real-world metropolises and to create long-term plans to address homelessness in those areas.
Thousands of dollars in cash prizes and scholarships will awarded to the winners, who will be announced the week of March 24. Good luck Rams!
