Ramsay’s Media Center is the hub of the school, located centrally on the second floor of the main building.  The mission of the library media center is to ensure that our students and staff are effective users of information and ideas.  We strive to accomplish this goal by providing access to current, adequate, and appropriate information resources, by providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest, providing training and access to materials that support thecurriculum, and by working with the community and other resources to meet the needs of the school.  The Destiny Webpage is the school’s online catalog, which can be accessed from any Internet accessible computer.  Teachers are encouraged to utilize this system to search for appropriate supplemental materials to enhance their classroom curriculum.

The library is open daily from 8:00-4:30 to students and staff for research and checkout.  The media specialist is available during this time to assist in enhancing the learning experience through the use of the Library Media Center.  The library operates on open scheduling, and teachers are encouraged to sign up for library and computer lab usage, as well as the use of equipment.

The Ramsay Reader’s on the Move Book Club meets on the fourth Friday of each month.
