Assistant Principal

This is my 4th year as an Assistant Principal. As a former Curriculum Specialist and a Middle School Math Teacher, I have watched our school transform into an amazing edifice that educates some of the most talented and brightest students in the city. My motto is “Be the change you want to see in the world.” My passion for learning and my desire to positively impact lives is what drives me as an educator.

Being the mother of two special-needs children, I have learned that there is beauty in even the worst of us. I have also learned the meaning of pure, perfect, and unconditional love. I have a deep, personal understanding that every person, no matter their condition or circumstances, wants what every person wants… acceptance… to be treated with kindness, compassion, and humanity. In my position, I strive to convey that sentiment to other educators and to our students. I believe that we can all learn and be successful with the right resources and circumstances.
