Our mission is to make our library a welcoming place for our students, teachers and community members as we promote a love of reading.

We strive:

My name is De'Angela Hackett.  I am a proud native of Birmingham and a product of Birmingham City Schools! I attended undergrad at Miles College, where I earned a dual degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education.  I earned a Master of Education in Library Media and an Educational Specialist degree from the University of West Alabama!  I am a married mother of two, one girl and one boy.  In my free time, I enjoy reading and coloring!
